Physical Gift Card: Pie Baking Class

The Gift Card includes instructions for recipients on how to sign up for a class time of their choice. Classes change according to the season and are posted online.

The perfect gift card for the pie lover or foodie in your life. Whether they’re new to pie baking or want to brush up on their skills, these fun and informative classes will teach them the basics for creating an American-style pie. They’ll work together with The American Pie Company’s co-owner, Erin Eberhardt Chapman, who will introduce them to the wonderful, rustic world of pie. Classes are small, for a cozy atmosphere and closer assistance.

What they’ll learn: 
With a complete hands-on experience, participants will learn the basics of pie dough, and how to get a perfect crust. Properly rolling out dough and assembling a pie, along with learning to make particular fillings and toppings, and tips for perfect baking, storage, and serving.

Class features:
> When the class is over, they’ll have a fresh-baked pie to take home and enjoy! (Possibly with YOU :-))
> Recipes
> While the pies are baking, we’ll taste nibble on different pies, both savory & sweet
> Coffee, tea, or cold drink
> Assistance from staff and clean-up, so they can focus on the fun part!

Participants from 12-15 years old are welcome, with a parent (parent must also purchase a spot)
